Personal Background

Phil worked his way through college as a salesman by day and an entertainer by night. His sales career began at age sixteen selling high ticket imported cars, and then burglar alarm systems. He rose through the ranks to Vice President of Marketing of a major alarm company. After several years in the field, Phil realized that there had to be a better, more professional way to sell than the old hard sell methods that he had been taught. Never one to keep a good idea to himself, Phil co-wrote Non-Manipulative Selling and became a professional speaker. In the twenty-five years since, Phil has shared his expertise with audiences around the world.
